It's about time I started looking after myself from within.
On the 1st of this month, I decided to give myself a kick up the backside and decided it was time not only did I go on a diet but I started to workout too! I feel really motivated to do so now, going for this whole new month, new me vibe. I even got my hair did on the first of the month haha.
I decided to just start small, working out when I felt like it and in my first week I worked out 3 times. Not bad for someone who'd rather sit in bed watching Netflix. I even went on two runs. Yes, they were only around the block... But I went. It's a start and I couldn't have been more prouder. I've also cut out fizzy drinks altogether. I haven't had one since the 31st July.
The main thing I've changed up are my eating habits! I just ate whatever, whenever before. Now I'm quite strict with myself and it's clearly working, in my first week I lost 6 and a half lbs!
