Review | Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Skin Protectant.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Skin Protectant.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Skin Protectant | £27.00

Elizabeth Arden is a well known skincare brand and in fact the eight hour cream has actually even won awards and I can't say I am surprised, it may be the most expensive lip balm I own, but the only lip balm I feel actually does the job. I often find lip balms do nothing for my lips and sometimes I even find they make them worse, however, the Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream, isn't just a lip balm in fact. It has many uses whether that be for, burns, dry/cracked skins or helping with getting smooth cuticles, it's a must have beauty staple!

I first purchased this after Gabbie, or velvetgh0st as you might know here, raved about this endlessly on her YouTube channel, I was intrigued as to whether or not it was as amazing as she was making out, her lips always looks smooth and healthy and even though she may apply a little too often her lips do look nice on camera. I don't have crazily dry lips, nor do they crack often or split on a regular basis, but sometimes, I will get a split in my top lift, which occurs in the same place every time it arises, which is highly annoying. I know £27.00 is a lot of money to spend on a product which I do only use as a lip balm but I do find it makes my lips feel smoother, more moisturised and healthier.

I apply this every night before bed and I honestly can see and feel a massive difference to my lips, I also have one on my desk at work if I feel my lips need a bit of moisture! I cannot fault the product, I just wish it smelt less like medicine!
